Quality

Valen Fittings Limited maintains a quality system in accordance with ISO9001:2008 which is accredited by British Standards, PED 97/23/EC, ISO 3834 and Canadian Registration.

We hold QTR’s for Norsok M650 in duplex, super duplex and 6 moly covering fittings and pipes. All our products are manufactured to International Specifications from European material. Both procedures and welders are qualified by Independent Third-Party Organisations with WPS and PQR’s available upon request.

We can offer non-destructive tests including visual and dimensional checks, dye penetrant, Hardness testing, PMI and Ferrite checks. We also have an onsite UKAS approved independent testing laboratory together with independent radiography facilities. This enables us to offer a wide range of testing from prolongation test pieces to major specifications to suit our customers exact requirements and to supply products with 100% radiography. All products once manufactured undergo a rigorous inspection by our qualified Inspectors.

Certification

All our products are supplied with EN10204 to either 3.1 or 3.2 certification depending on requirements. They are despatched with a document pack containing a Valen fittings, plate and weld consumables certificate. Testing and radiography results if required. All documentation can be sent electronically on request.

Despatch

When the manufacturing and inspection process is complete all our products are packed ready for despatch.
As a standard all items are packed on European wooden pallets stamped certified to ISPM 15 and shrink wrapped free of charge.

Packed in wooden crates.
End caps.
Colour coding.
Additional marking.
Paperwork with goods or on plain notes.

Health & Safety

Valen considers Health and Safety a top priority. Full training is given to all employees and all PPE is supplied and rigid guidelines set.

We hold monthly quality meetings with all employees covering Quality, Health & Safety and Operations. We operate fully in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and hold a Health and Safety policy that is part of Valen’s mission statement.
